Surajkund International Crafts Mela from Feb 01- Feb 15, 2013

Faridabad is all set to host 27th Surajkund crafts fair from Feb 01 to Feb 15 this year. The southern state of Karnataka would be the theme state for the fair. Karnataka received this honour second time. In 1994 Surajkund had Karnataka as a theme state.

More than one million people would witness the performances of about 350 performers and folk artists.

People would have chance to see 300-yr old Kambala Buffalo race of Karnataka. Golf will be the another attraction.

Old aged, children and disabled people can enjoy eCar ride this time. However, Helicopter ride is not available this time around.

2013 edition of  crafts fair has been dedicated to the national bird Peacock.
